Final Explore of Mexico

I am a resident of Mexico for 9 more weeks, and then it's off to the next adventure. In the last month I've taken my last two trips in Mexico, revisiting Mexico City with my friends S & Awesome A, and exploring Merida on my own. I took my little Sony NEX point & shoot hybrid on both trips and used every setting the camera has to take some of my last pictures in Mexico.

In Mexico City, we went to the Mexican Anthropology Museum, Chupultepec Castle and I finally, finally, got to witness the beautiful, weird, awesome choreography and spectacle that is Lucha wrestling!

In Merida, I just wandered, camera in hand, and looked at the same buildings I had before, and tried to see them from a different perspective. The abandoned buildings that I have photographed many times had fallen a bit more into decay, but in a beautiful and haunting way. Many more buildings have been restored or are being rebuilt, and the city feels like a living thing, parts of it dying while other parts regrow and renew.

It's been nice to take a few breaks from school and packing to do some exploring, but mostly, moving means saying goodbye to friends, cats, and favorite haunts, while simultaneously feeling excitement for the next adventure.
